    1. Good luck with the move! I don't know about you but I hate the "process" of moving. I do love redoing a new home though. Just try and take some time out of the craziness and enjoy some summer sun :) Then again, I'm sure you got plenty sun when you went to California!

    1. Nice! I love cruises! Well at least the idea of a cruise, I tend to get sea sick very easily. That's the only down fall. But I have gone on a couple, and every single one has been amazing. There is always SO much to do. I just wish I felt better, Lol.

Stay safe though!! And have lots of fun!!

    1. Yeah, I don't know where you are but it sure has been hot here lately too. I'm not a fan of hot weather. I prefer fall. However, I do love sunny days.

And if you haven't gotten a chance to hit the beach yet, then I hope you do before the summer ends.

Thanks for the URL. I followed your blog too.

    1. That is awesome! My best friend lives out of state so I don't get to see her but we talk every day. Having some time away from "reality" and just letting yourself have fun and laugh once a week is great for your heart. I hope you two continue to have a blast!!

I couldn't see a spot to follow you on it, maybe I overlooked it somewhere. But I did follow you on Twitter.
I was reading some of your reviews. Is there any book you read lately that you really love- that you would recommend someone to read? I always enjoy expanding my kindle list.

  14. I haven't really did a whole lot of stuff this summer. Mostly spent time with my family & kids before they go back to school. Cook outs, walks, taking the kids to the splash pad, the county fair is coming up so will be going there also.... no vacations planned for the summer but we are planning one in October.

As much as I love my kindle, I must say I prefer books. There is just something wonderful about walking into a book store. It's a land of creativity, dreams, and success. It's awesome!

  24. My summer has been anything but lazy as well. With 3 rambunctious boys life is never dull. We have hit IBSP a few times, we kayak the creek every other weekend, GA, Jenkinsons is a favorite, bike rides through Winding River, trips to the local park with the puppies.. Although, I've been enjoying the stormy nights, lights off, snuggled up watching the lightning with my babies. Even with the boys down time, taking care of my dad still keeps me on my toes.. Free time, down time, reading time doesn't come to easy (although I have quite a few books on my Kindle) I look forward to school restarting for a little more down time.. Down time or not, I love life just the way it is (:

    1. :) You are a very busy momma !! But you obviously know family is the most important thing in life, and to have so many wonderful experiences with the people you love - and to know you have a blessed, wonderful life, is a beautiful thing! I hope you get some down time to read soon, there is some wonderful books out there. Of course, I've been so busy writing and editing, I barely get down time myself. I love what I do though :)

  26. I love early summer best because down here summer gets really really hot. I love swimming the best. I have nothing planned for this summer because I am poor and do not have a car. So going places is very hard. I have seen my niece a few times and she showed me how she is learning to read

    1. Seeing your niece learning to read is a beautiful thing! I wish more children enjoyed the art and wonder of a story. I hope she keeps with it. As for your summer, you don't need to go away to have an amazing time. Some of the best experiences is right where you live and in the town that surrounds you. Get out there and enjoy those early summer mornings like you love. I wish I could but unfortunately I work in the morning and well, I'm really not a morning person lol.
