Dreams can come true...

Hey everyone! I know it seemed like a really long wait- or at least it did for me- but I finally have some exciting news to share with you. I probably could have mentioned something sooner but I think i was still in shock. Actually, in all honesty, I think I still am. A part of me is still expecting Aston Kutcher to come strolling in any minute with his "punk'd" crew or someone to scream "April Fools" even if its  a few months early. I might be thinking "someone pinch me" but please, out of respect to my arm - just don't. Thanks.
Anyway- I have had this on going communication with a publishing company since August of last year. Between my query submissions, my "half-finished" manuscript submission and then my final manuscript submission- it's been a very stressful and nerve-wrecking ride. Also, completely exciting.
This company happens to be the first company I took interest in and the only company I sent a manuscript too- and it just so happens THEY WANT MY BOOK!!! It is like the best feeling ever! I can't even tell you how estatic it makes me that they took interest in my story from the start.
I found Jan 9th of this year that they wanted to offer me a contract for my ya paranormal story I had written.
I practically fell out of my chair. ( but hey, I am a klutz so that's not too different from my normal activity- it was just with more excitement.)
I only told a couple people the news- I didn't want to get a head of myself. I could think of all kinds of things - negative things are easy to think of- its the positive stuff that's hard.  So I was trying to stay level- headed. In fact my friends and family that knew were screaming and jumping up and down and I was just having heart palpitations quietly to myself.

I just couldn't believe it.
I wanted to believe it but what, how, when, where???? I couldn't think straight!! Could you really blame me?

So anyway soon enough- though it felt like forever- I was getting the "rough draft" of the contract sent to me.
After reviewing and commenting- I was receiving the "Final Draft"
Today I have OFFICIALLY SIGNED A CONTRACT.

And if i am being honest- Its still so surreal. I am still excited, still nervous, still anxious- I'm starting to think those feelings just heighten as the days go on.
I will tell you more when I can-
just wanted to share my excitement with all of you and apologize for making you wait for the good news.

I can't wait to share my story with you all!!! This is definitely a dream come true!Even if I am still having a hard time processing that it IS actually happening to me.

:O)
Stay tuned....
